It is the genre between genres or the anomalous zones of interference between genres that constantly question notions of musicality and accepted cultural frameworks of listening and hearing. A retrospective of sorts, each week a different musician, critic, label owner or Resonance contributor chooses ground breaking, seminal or forgotten recordings.
